The Portrait Youth project positions dress as a conduit to the lived experiences of youth.

 

We invite young people from the North of England to take part in creative 'Wear Your Identity' workshops that enable the exploration and communication of identity through fashion, styling and portraiture.

Portrait Youth was initiated by a group of academics at Manchester Fashion Institute, Manchester Metropolitan University.
