SERIES 6

A collaboration with the Italian sportswear brand C.P. Company and the Westminster Menswear Archive exploring identity through styling and portrait photography with young men from Blackburn and Darwen. 

 

The Portrait Youth team held a ‘wear your identity’ workshop at the Blackburn Youth Zone during which participants were interviewed about their approaches to dressing, and styled their own outfits, with C.P. Company garments, for the photoshoot.  

 

The photographer for this series was Neil Bedford.

 

The portraits were on display in King William Street, Blackburn as part of a range of activities organised by the Westminster Menswear archive, that ran alongside C.P. Company’s CINQUANTA archive exhibition in Darwen during the British Textile Biennial 2021.
