SERIES 1

In 2017 the first two ‘wear your identity’ workshops took place with the Manchester Youth Council (MYC). The Youth Council is a forum that represents the views of young people, giving them 
a voice and enabling their views to be heard.

The participants were asked to bring along a bag of clothes and artefacts that represented their identity, to inform a creative styling workshop and photoshoot.

The photographer for this series was Zoë Hitchen.

The portraits were exhibited during the Design Manchester festival at Manchester Central Library from 9th October - 30th November 2017.
